History
In 1974, Mr. Jaime Serrat, a tool and die maker by trade, began developing molds for transmission bellows (or CV joint boots), producing them through a pressing process in a small shed located at the back of his house. His products were sold exclusively in the city of Rosario.
In 1982, with the incorporation of his son, the company began operating under the name Jaime Serrat e hijo S.C., initiating a period of growth and selling its products throughout the national territory. In 2002, the firm made its first export, eventually expanding to all of Latin America and some European countries such as France and Spain. Over the years, the company has become increasingly professionalized and has committed to continuous improvement in all its areas. Today, with the third generation now on board, we are facing new challenges that keep us focused on a promising future.
Facilities
We have a highly sophisticated plant, with state-of-the-art and fully automated machinery located at the exit of RN 34 in the city of Rosario.
We are currently in the process of assembling a new 4,000 m2 plant located in the Alvear Industrial Park, which will allow us a better layout, optimizing the production and storage of our products. The objective of this plant is to be recognized as a reference plant in the production of the products that we manufacture and market.
